Preparation for World Earth Day Events for April 24th. Ideas needed for our club to do something exciting in recognition of this day.

This is normally Committee week but we are looking at a potential cause to assist the Police by assisting them in setting up an Emergency Fund. Kevin Zettel the new Police Chief has kindly offered to come and talk to us about himself and why a fund of this type would be helpful to our community and a useful resource for the Police.

John Vanbastelaar had the original idea for the fund and the Community Services Committee is currently now looking at the feasibility of it and recommending that the St Patrick's Day Zoom Show become a dedicated fundraiser for the fund. 

With Sommelier John Conlin and much more. 

It may be pushed to Feb 24th due to COVID-19????

Dr. Arra, Head of the Grey Bruce Health Unit will speak about the COVID 19 Vaccination Program and how the region is responding to the pandemic. This event will be open to the Public and other Grey Bruce Rotary Clubs

Planning for the Future, Kick Off Meeting and also this is Committee Week. 

Cooking Challenge currently on hold due to COVID 19 restrictions.

Details to be firmed up. Stay at Home Gala format similar to Jazz for the Light and East Coast Kitchen Party.

CULINARY WARS ON HURON SHORES

Due to the new restrictions that will come into effect on Saturday April 3^rd the Rotary Club of Southampton will have to cancel the second and third cooking classes for the Culinary Wars on Huron Shores. Rotary is planning to organise cooking classes in November, if the conditions at that time allow us to record the classes.

Everyone who purchased a ticket for the second class will receive a refund. However, if anyone has made a donation to Rotary, we are unable to return that amount, as a tax receipt has already been issued.

The SHRED-N-GO event, due to take place on April 24^th, will also be postponed until the Fall.

Rotary wishes to conform with all the current COVID-19 restriction and ensure the safety of our community and all our members. If anyone has any questions please contact us by email.
